SMCO D16 Cable Shifter Conversion kit

With the shifter mounted solidly in the mini, there is a chance the shifter can pop out of gear with engine movement under hard acceleration. The issue is exacerbated if you run softer engine mounts or if poly engine mounts fail.

We've come up with a solution to that issue by upgrading the D16 (S20/S40) to run a cable shifter. The result is a more accurate and modern shifting experience.

This kit includes two shifter cable brackets, and one shift fork bracket. 

This kit does not include shifter cables or shifter. OEM Honda DC5 Integra (Acura RSX) shifter and cables. Upgraded parts may also be used.

This kit fits in a classic mini D16 swap using OEM length Honda cables. It will require longer custom length shifter cables for application in other front engine cars
