1959 MINI - PANTONE

This car came to us after having lived a full life travelling around the world. It found a home with a passionate owner in Texas who needed our help with restoring the car.

Although we received the car as a bare shell with some metal work already done, we did another pass at the car to make sure every panel were straight and up to standard.

We then worked together with the client to choose a custom color combination out of the Pantone catalogue and we sprayed the car with 6 coats of single stage paint and finished it with a contrasting color roof and hood stripes.

The power unit is a fully rebuilt 1275 A-series, installed into a fully refinished subframes powder-coated in sandtex black. Every nut and bolt were sandblasted and zinc plated.

Additionally, a vintage air AC unit was installed in the trunk and blows through custom 3D printed vents on the rear parcel shelf.

The end result is a one of a kind, early example of the classic mini, lovingly rebuilt bespoke to it's new owner.
