1989 MINI - D16 Carbureted
After blowing up his rebuilt 1098cc Cooper spec A-series engine, repeatedly; instead of fixing it, Marco decided to join SMCO in hopes of developing a D16 swap for his car.
After 5 years of work in building a company, he spent 5 weeks to rebuild his mini for a road trip to Monterey Car week, where SMCO showed their latest build at The Quail.
In a frenzy of ideas and acting on his first thought, the car ended up as a centre seat, dual weber D16 swapped test mule.
After the road trip the car is once again scavenged for parts and waits for its next iteration.
